BIOGRAPHY

I should start by saying I am number 6 of eight children, a few dogs, few cats so I have to say it was a bit difficult to stand out. While we all went to school, my mother and her friends would gather and go to a painting class and she loved it! I would come home from school and be amazed at what she had painting and 'how' I asked.  She would laugh and always say if you are going to paint, paint somewhere you want to be,. So much for Calgon.

I always loved painting through school and into high school.  Making my own money, getting my own place with my own bathroom was my number one goal.  Skip college and get working.  I did. Years later after life which was wonderful but I could never quit the desire to be a painter, an artist.  Always playing here and there,  but a few years before I retired I jumped in and have been going full steam ahead ever since.

The amazing artists I found on the internet and those I met through these courses gave me the confidence to continue and work hard to find my voice through art. Nicholas Wilton who created Art2Life and Judy Woods Abstract artist,  were two that I felt spoke to me. Diana Malin, artist, is my mentor..  A fantastic artist and we learn together every day we paint.  So, for the last 3 years, I have been learning how to hone into my intuitive intellect and create abstract and abstract realism.
